Gemmed (gemmed.io) is run by Invested Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we”). By playing you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Gemmed. Questions go to quincy@invested.inc.

The game

Gemmed is free and for fun. There is nothing to buy, no prizes and no wagers, and nothing of value can be won or lost. Streaks, scores and stats have no cash value.

Who can play

You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.

Prices are past sales, not appraisals

Each answer is what one slab sold for at one venue on one date, as that venue reported it. It is not a valuation or appraisal of the card, and it is not financial or investment advice. Don't base buying or selling decisions on Gemmed.

Mistakes happen

Puzzles may contain errors. We may correct, replace or remove a puzzle at any time, and we may reset results or stats if something goes wrong.

Play fair

No bots, scripts or automated guessing, and no scraping the site or its puzzles.
Don't flood the site with requests, fake results, or try to skew the player stats.
Don't try to reach other players' data or the parts of the site meant for us.

Looking up the listing only spoils your own game. We may block anyone who breaks these rules.

Your email and the archive

Giving an email is optional; it opens the archive of past puzzles. Our Privacy page explains what we do with it.

What's ours

The Gemmed name, Chew the mascot, the design, the text and the code belong to Invested Inc. You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial play. Don't copy the site or its puzzle data. Share your result grids anywhere you like.

Other people's photos and marks

Gemmed is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by PSA, CGC, BGS, SGC or any other grader; any auction house, price guide or data service; The Pokémon Company or Nintendo; Wizards of the Coast; or any league, team or player. Slab photos and trademarks belong to their owners, and every answer links to the original listing. If you own a photo and want it removed, see Copyright.

Other sites

Listing links open other sites, which have their own terms. We are not responsible for them.

No warranty

Gemmed is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, Invested Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Gemmed. Our total liability for any claim about Gemmed is limited to $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, email us first and give us 30 days to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and playing after a change means you accept it. We may also change Gemmed, or stop running it, at any time.
